PRE-JOB CHECKLISTS
Before Your Painting Project Begins
The following checklists will help RVG Painting LLC complete your project efficiently while minimizing disruption to your home and daily routine. Please review the appropriate checklist before our scheduled arrival.
BEFORE ANY PAINTING PROJECT
* For qualifying larger projects, a 30% deposit is required. Deposits may be made by check or cash. Checks should be made payable to RVG Painting LLC.
* Please make arrangements for pets during the project.
* Please contact us before your painting project with any questions or concerns. We are happy to discuss any details with you.
* If you are sensitive to paint odors, or if someone in the household is pregnant, you may wish to make arrangements to stay away from the work area during the project.
INTERIOR PRE-JOB CHECKLIST
Prior to Our Arrival
⦿ Disconnect wiring from computers, televisions, stereos, and other equipment. Please identify your wires so they can be reconnected correctly.
⦿ Clear counters, tables, dressers, shelves, and other surfaces of personal items.
⦿ Remove clothing, papers, towels, throw rugs, and other personal belongings from rooms being painted.
⦿ If closets are being painted, please empty them before our arrival.
⦿ If pictures or hanging items are staying in their current location, please leave the existing hardware in place. If you are moving them, please remove the hardware and we will patch the holes.
⦿ Remove the contents of kitchen cabinets if cabinets are being refinished.
⦿ Secure or remove grandfather clocks from the work area.
⦿ Please remove towels, rugs, and accessories from bathrooms and laundry rooms.
⦿ Take down curtains and draperies. RVG Painting LLC is not responsible for damage to window treatments.
⦿ Disable alarm systems when necessary. RVG Painting LLC is not responsible for alarm company service fees.
⦿ Make arrangements for pets to remain safely away from the work area.
⦿ The furnace should be turned off when spray application of paint is required.

RVG PAINTING LLC WILL:
⦿ Move large furniture and group it in the center of the room when necessary.
⦿ Protect floors and carpeting with drop cloths.
⦿ Protect furniture with plastic sheeting.
⦿ Straighten each room and return moved furniture to its original location upon completion.
⦿ Remove rubbish, empty paint containers, and job-related trash.
⦿ Mark and leave leftover paint cans for the customer when applicable.
FINAL INSPECTION
⦿ We will inform you of the expected completion day and time.
⦿ We ask that you walk through the property with us at completion to inspect the work and make sure you are satisfied.
⦿ We will perform any necessary touch-ups at this time whenever possible so that a special return trip is not required.
⦿ After you inspect the completed work, we will send the final invoice via messaging.
EXTERIOR PRE-JOB CHECKLIST
Prior to Our Arrival
⦿ Cut back, take down, or remove bushes, vines, and other vegetation that is touching, connected to, or too close to the house.
⦿ Remove and store furniture, grills, plants, decorations, and other items from areas that may be affected by pressure washing.
⦿ Make sure all windows are CLOSED when pressure washing is scheduled.
⦿ Make sure access to water and an electrical outlet is available.
⦿ Please make arrangements to contain or remove pets during the project.
⦿ Turn off automatic sprinkler systems for the duration of the project.
⦿ Turn off alarm systems when necessary.

RVG PAINTING LLC WILL:
⦿ Protect walkways with plastic sheeting when necessary.
⦿ Protect furniture and other items with plastic sheeting when necessary.
⦿ Return furniture or other items that we move to their original location upon completion.
⦿ Remove rubbish, empty paint containers, and job-related trash.
⦿ Mark and leave leftover paint cans for the customer when applicable.
